Nominations for the 52nd ACM Awards were revealed on CBS This Morning and Entertainment Tonight. Keith Urban's "Blue Ain't Your Color" continued it's award season run with nominations for Song of The Year and Single Record of the Year. Previously nominated for Best Country Song and Best Country Vocal Performance at the 59th Grammy Awards, "Blue Ain't Your Color" is the fourth chart-topper from Keith Urban's critically acclaimed Ripcord album.
Written by Clint Lagerberg, Hillary Lindsey and Steven Lee Olsen, "Blue Ain't Your Color" began the year at the top of the Country radio charts for two weeks. In early 2016, Spirit acquired Frank Rogers' one-third interest in certain copyrights of the respected Nashville indie publisher Sea Gayle Music, which Rogers co-founded with Chris DuBois and Brad Paisley in 1999. "Blue Ain't Your Color" is but one of the many fine copyrights that Spirit has added to it's vast catalog through the aquisition.
The 52nd ACM Awards will air live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on CBS on Sunday, Apr. 2 at 8 p.m. ET.
